Ready for a coffee break? Me, too!!

weekly affirmation Oct 20, 2016

Guess what!?!? I finished the book proposal this week!!!

Writing it has been harder than earning my master’s degree as a newly single mom. I poured my heart and soul into it and I’m so proud of it. I’m now working on the editing process. It will be ready to submit in early December. I’m so excited! Thank you for being with me on this journey.

I saw the end in sight on the proposal… and that’s where I put my focus this week. Plus… my daughter turns 15 this week!!! AND… get’s her learner’s permit! Wait…. what?!? Yep! Here is a picture to prove it! Notice the empty parking lot in the background. That was where I parked the car on our way home so she could drive us the rest of the way home.

It’s time for a coffee (or tea!) break!

This week, I’m going to encourage you to take a break. You’ve worked hard this week. I can feel it! You’ve made some big changes in the way you think. You’ve made other changes, too.

Allow yourself to take a break. Take a coffee break if you drink coffee. Or a tea break! Or a weekend break! Or…whatever kind of break you need!

Don’t break forever. Set a timer or a deadline on your break. But take a break! And that’s what I’m going to do right now.

I’m going to take a quick break to celebrate my daughter’s birthday, her permit, and my completed book proposal!  I’ll be back on Monday with part 2 of the interview with Jennifer Knight on the healing power of yoga. If you missed part 1, here is the link.

If you haven’t signed up for my newsletter, I invite you to do that. You’ll never have to worry about missing a post on social media. These come right to your mail box!

Until then, here is one of your favorites (based on what you’ve told me!) with a real live energy experiment! Enjoy!

All my love,

Brenda
